From 1 July 2026, employers will be required to pay super to their employees at the same time as their salary and wages under the new Payday Super legislation.Â
These reforms aim to reduce unpaid or underpaid super by bringing Superannuation Guarantee payments into line with standard payroll cycles.Â
To stay compliant, super contributions and the details needed to allocate them must reach your employees’ super funds within 7 business days of payday.Â
